Teaching healthy sleep habits is my passion

Meet The Baby Sleep Teacher

My name is Stephanie Bull and I am a qualified baby sleep consultant and founder of The Baby Sleep Teacher.

Children and education are my passion! I have spent the last two decades learning from the best in the business, children themselves!

My work experience in early childhood and primary school teaching and operating a family daycare has given me a firm foundation and applied knowledge of childhood development, psychology and communication.

Teaching babies is my thing!

Originally from Canada, I have been based in Perth, Australia since 2012. I am a mother to two gorgeous girls, an infant and a toddler! Being a mother has been busy, challenging and oftentimes not glamorous.

After having my first child, I opened a family daycare in my home. My first-hand experience caring for babies and toddlers has taught me that their sleep is an evolving process.

I am continually learning about sleep and settling needs each time I lay a child down for a nap.

Prior to becoming a Mum, I worked as a primary school teacher. My experience teaching in Canada, the United Arab of Emirates and Australia has been invaluable to understanding how different families and cultures care for their young children.

My last teaching position I had the incredibly rewarding job of teaching children with special needs.

Becoming a baby sleep consultant

My ongoing journey and love for children has led me down the path of becoming a baby sleep consultant. I work with children from birth to 5 years of age.

I have completed paediatric sleep courses in both the east and west coast of Australia and have vowed never to stop learning.

My passion for people, education and well-being makes me strive to help parents not just survive but thrive!

The Baby Sleep Teacher aim and philosophy

My aim

When it comes to baby sleep, my aim is simple, help parents regain their sanity by improving their infant or toddler’s sleep!

When I work with parents, their infant’s mental health, along with their own, is considered through every step of the consultation.

We may laugh and we may cry together but know I am here to listen with compassion, commitment, and a great understanding of your situation.

My philosophy

As a baby sleep consultant, I am guided by my applied knowledge that children are uniquely different and learn in different ways.

No one knows their child better than their parents. Together using the your knowledge of your child, we find gentle sleep solutions that fit with your baby’s temperament and your family’s circumstances.
